Today I wanted to share what Lauren has to say about her experience at Delta life to over come her struggles with consistency to achieve her weight loss goals.
Before finding us, what was your struggle? What were your biggest frustrations?
Prior to going DLF I really struggled with consistency and self-motivation. I was an athlete my whole life and through college, so it was never hard to “find time to workout”, that was just naturally built into my days. After entering the real world of adulthood I really struggled finding the time, and more so, making myself find the time and committing to my health and fitness.
How did your struggle and frustrations affect your life?
Not being able to make room for myself really started to take a toll on my overall health, my energy levels, confidence, and overall happiness. I so badly missed working out and physical activity, but I felt it becoming increasingly harder to do the things I used to love.
How did our program help you?
Joining Delta Fitness gave me a sense of community in the fitness world that I was really missing! I struggled so much with the self-motivation and working out alone. DLF not only provides me with a group of wonderful women to workout with, but also the most motivating coaches I’ve ever had! Now, I can’t wait to walk into the gym and it’s become the best habit I have.
How is life different for you now?
Physically, I can feel myself becoming stronger and stronger by the day. My stamina has increased as well which has been such a huge help outside of the gym doing things I love like hiking. As for mentally, DLF has become something I look forward to every time and truly a place of solace for me.
